Could I suggest you edit your title to something like

*Did William Wright go to Australia?*

Or at least something with Australia in the title. It would attract the attention of those who know their way around AZ records.

STILL going on about William Wright who was born in 1890 in Haggerstone, London - then moved to Leigh on Sea with his parents William Edward and Florence Maud Wright, siblings Raymond Noel born 1892 and Ivy born 1900.
William is said to have joined the merchant navy. ended up with a trading schooner in Australia & had building engineering co. in Brisbane. Does this ring any bells with anybody? I am sure he had a family..many thanks for any poss info
