Have you tried getting in touch with Irish history groups of the local area, or directly with Irish libraries asking them for information? Are you wanting specific information of the history of Tristram in the rebellion, or Tristram's previous family, or the rebellion as seen from his viewpoint? Do you know where Tristram originally came from?
(I found you on google, which just shows how searches become circular)

Thanks for the sound search suggestions. I am looking for all of the things you mentioned. I believe Tristram came from Derry.
