I'm far from convinced that someone born in 1904 in North Yorkshire would marry in KENT in 1939.

There is a marriage on North Yorks in 1925 for Catherine L Wood, which is probably the one born 1904

The 1988 death in Kent looks more likely to be your grandmother

MY nana Catherine Lilian wood was married to Harry Gordon Sheherd in 1939, they had six children. But im trying to find Catherine parents, her dad was either frederick or william wood, but not sure about her mother. Catherine was born in september 1904. Ive been on the message board before and some thought they may have found the great granparents but i dont seem to go any further to find if they are, please can any one help me. many thanks Theresa.
