Windsor is in Essex Co (I think).

I would suggest contacting the local library:

Hello mgnv,
Thank you, I have just noticed your reply from 4 hours back. Sorry, but I've only just got up! I do know the exact details of Daisy's death. It was the Metropolitan General Hospital, Windsor, Ontario, Canada on 23-10-1992, but I must apologise for I have just noticed I said Leonard was born in 1881 when in fact he was born in 1891. If you still on line, or if anyone else knows, how would I go about looking for an Obit. in a newspaper. I woud have imagined Daisy had outlived Leonard for he would have been 101 in 1992 although its possible I suppose. I am aware they had 2 children if that helps, Leonard,1920 London, and another born in Canada a few years later, details unknown.
Thanks again mgnv

Ontario deaths are technically not closed, but no index is published for 70 y.
If you knew Daisy's exact dod, you might be able to find an obit in a newspaper, and this might mention if she was predeceased (or survived) by Leonard.

Hi,
Leonard Frederick Baker born 1881 from Kensington, London emigrated to Canada, landing in Quebec in 1920 (with his wife Daisy, 1901 London) A Genes member has Daisy in their tree and has told me she died in Windsor, Ontario Canada in 1992. I was hoping this info might help in finding Leonard's death. I have no idea what decade it may have been although I do know he was still alive in the early 1930's.
Many thanks, Carole
