Member Since: December 2004 Posts: 39 Send Message	Hi, I'm finding it really difficult to pin down William Hall, born c1844. He gives various places of birth on the census returns, all in Lincolnshire including Brothertoft, Langrick Fishtoft and Coningsby! He married Jane Reynolds in Boston district 1866, after which he settled down and ended up in Kirton Skeldyke near Boston. I am trying to find out who his Parents were, and don't really want to have to pay for the Marriage Certificate if I don't have to, as I'm doing this to help a family member. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated, many thanks.

	I think that as there are a lot of William Halls in Lincolnshire around 1844 you would need to have marriage and birth certificates, with census evidence, to reduce the possibilities for error. If you are going with the Frampton William, then there is a Willian born in 1843 in Boston district, to go with that marriage certificate you need to get. If you are helping a family member, then they pay, surely?

	I think Victoria is right because on the next census 1861 William is working and living with a family and his sister Harriet is there too and Betsey (Elizabeth) is working a few houses away or next door.
