Find Ancestors

Hi everyone,i seem to have hit a brick wall and wonder if anyone may be able to offer some assistance please?
My GG Grandfather was Henry Evans born c 1836 Chievely Berkshire.I know this as i have found the family on the 1891 and 1901 census in Chieveley Berkshire.
His wife was Bridget...?born c 1844 Dublin Ireland (same source)

They had four children born in India from 1872-1884, returning to England before 1886 as their youngest daughter was born here in that year.Henry was serving with the Army.
Would anyone please be able to find their marriage and if possible Bridget's maiden name please?
I can't find a way forward and consequently can't go back to find their parents and lineage.
Any help would be much appreciated.Thankyou.

do you have a birth index for the youngest child?

If so you could then order the birth certificate which should have the mothers maiden name on it

Hi Diana ,yes i do have that and ordering a cert is a good idea.
Think i may have come across a possible marrige in Newcastle Dec 1861 in Newcastle..........Curiously looks like she may have had the maiden name of Evans!!
Am i right in thinking Newcastle was a hub for administration and Army transport would you know? x

This B/C will give you Mums maiden name
