I am looking to find any information regarding my great grandfather Tom Ward. He was the bridgemaster at Manchester ship canal for a while and married Annie Metcalfe. They may have moved to Scotland as my grandfather & his brother married two sisters who lived in Glasgow |

Many thanks for the information. I only have my grandfather's marriage certificate which was in 15th July 1916 in Glasgow. On it it states that his father was deceased but had married Annie Elizabeth Metcalfe. On the certificate it says he was canal bridge master. I know they had at least two children, George Hendry and John. Your information looks good and I will follow up on it. |
