Stella Report 6 May 2010 14:47

I am trying to find more about Theodore Ward and his family. He was born in Brixworth in 1851 and was married to Lucy They had a son, Philip born in Middlesborough in 1890. I have been able to find that, according to the 1911 census, he was a solicitor for the Custom and Excise living in Carlshalton, Surrey, but his wife and son were not living there with him. I cannot find them in the census or any of them after that. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you

Not sure if this is Lucy's death. She should still be showing in the 1911 though.

Stella Report 7 May 2010 16:19

Thank you so much to everyone who gave me so much help.

I have been trying to find my dad's family for many years . He was abandoned by his father after his mother died.

Theodore is my grandmother's uncle. I didn't know the name of his wife.I will now be able to send off for their marriage certificate and death certificates. Hopefully their son Philip will appear on one of the death certificates as I don't know what happened to him.

Ann, please could you tell the connection of Theodosius to my great grandfather, John Ward who was a surgeon in London?

Once again thank you to all you lovely people who give up your time to help people like me. Who knows I might one day find just one person on my dad's side who is related to me?
