Have found Leah Davis aged 43 & daughter Lily 9 returning Montreal - Liverpool 25.7.1925. No sign of husband William. They returned to 14 Woodall Road Witton, Birmingham where they were living in 1920.
Presumably they must have gone to Canada between 1920/25.
Can anyone help with the details please.
Would be particularly interested to know if sister in law Florence Jessie & her daughter of the same name travelled with them.

Thanks Jonesey. That was quick.
Looks like she came back to England, then turned round & went straight back to Canada. (I have them arriving From Canada on the Doric 25.7.1925)
Wonder if her husband went with them in the first place & stayed in Canada, or whether she left him & went to live with her sister in law whose husband was killed in WW1.
The plot thickens.

There was a Selina Simpson from same address 14 Woodsall Road?
travelling with them (aged 64)

There was mention of an Annie Connor (34) and an Emily Statham (58) who may or may not have been connected to them. - Annie did not get on board but Emily did sail

Thank you Dea.
I think Selina Simpson was Leah´s mother. From memory, her Mum was Selina. Leah´s maiden name was Chilton so presumably Mum re married.
Don´t know who the others were. Will try to find out.

Thanks again Jonesey. Just what I wanted to know.
Thank you too Margaret. Leah´s maiden name was Chilton.
Now I know that William went to Canada too & have an address for them.

The other two probably have no connection.

Leah and Lillia were on one ticket No - the next ticket was Selina and these were just the next 2 tickets.

I only included them as they were both from the Birmingham area (in case they connected).

Annie's address was 42 Vincent Parade, Balsall Heath, Birmingham and
Emily's address was 5 Russell Grove, Regents Park Rd, Small Heath, Birmingham.

Unless the names are familiar to you, I doubt they were connected.

Thanks for that Dea. It will save me looking. Pretty sure they are not connected as I don´t recognise the names & they both lived on the opposite side of Birmingham to my lot (although as we all know, nothing is impossible in this game)
