It varies from province to province. In BC, the closure for births was recently raised to 120y, but the old releases thru 1903 are still available. |

Well, you're starting to run into Ontario's privacy closures. For BMDs, they're 100/80/70 y (well, technically, deaths aren't closed, but there's no index published for 70y, so unless you know when the death was, it's very expensive to search in (I think) 5 y blocks. Censuses are 92 y, so 1921 gets released in 2014. |

Also a great new feature we have here in Canada. You can google any address and get a map pinpointing the address then click on the A and you get a street scene. You can rotate the scene and move up and down the street to see the house where your relatives lived. |
