Hi Pauline
There are so many James Jackson's born around 1920. Do you have a middle name or initial for your father or even a location for where he was from.
You need to get more info from your mum if thats possible. Does she remember any names he may have mentioned like sisters ,brothers etc...

I am trying to trace James (Jimmy)Jackson born around 1920, and had a girlfriend called Edna May Morgan who lived in Birmingham, around the Sparkhill/Ladywood area, but originally came from Llanelly Wales. I am the daughter of that relationship. I have come to a dead-end, I am desperatly trying to trace anyone who can give me details of a father I have never met. Edna?s mother was called May and her sister was known as Toots. James (Jimmy) Jackson and Edna were keen dancers, does anyone remember them Mom is still alive she is 90 yrs old.
I am 70 yrs old and only recently found out that James was my birth father, so I may have half brothers or sisters. Can anyone help, any information would be great.
