Richard Robertshaw Evans-Born 1878.

My relative Richard Robertshaw Evans's birth is given in the Chorlton Registration District of Lancashire in 1878.Although I am looking at a possible marriage for him in 1910 I have no proof of this.If someone could find him in the 1911 Census I'd be delighted.

Hi William. He was not married in 1911, where he was shown as Richard Robert, along with his Mum Mary Jane and sister Jane Robertshaw3 Evans. Ethel.

Hi William. Do you know for certain that he married. He was 33 in 1911 census. Did he serve in forces????
If you have proof that he married then we can have another search for you. Ethel.

Have you got his death certificate to see what information is on that (e.g. possible relative?)

I assume you meant Chorley not Chorlton for richards birth - it could make a difference to the area you are looking for hiom in

The marriage in 1910 is for Richard Robert Evans not Robertshaw

I accept I made an error giving the Birth District but recognise the entry in the 1911 Census as correct.

Yes Michael it would have been a long shot but there were two Evans Birth entries in the Burnley District where the Mother's maiden name was given as Bradshaw.

According to Lancsbmd, mother's maiden name was Robertshaw not Bradshaw
