Find Ancestors

Think I may have found 4 children all born in the Highgate area of Edmonton.

I do know that Ernest lived there according to he 1911 census .
So who was the father of your step dad ?
have tried contacts through Genes Reunited waiting now for replies .

No I don't have any related Bennett family, though mum re married a Bennett a few years ago, and he wants me to trace his tree..who knows!!
Interesting that your grandfather served in the war, and as common practise for brothers to do the same, Ernest may well have served also.
Perhaps a call out to someone on Ancestry to help. Maybe there are more detailed WW1 death or service records to confirm either way if Ernest did serve, and die.
It's a pity FreeReg doesn't cover the London/Middlesex recordsas extensive as other districts.

I do not have any photo's of my Bennett family at all,my Grandfather died 1925 aged 39.,he served in WW1 as stretcher bearer
Ernest & Dora I only have their marriage ,I was hoping they had children ,to learn more about my Bennett line.

Barbara, I was wondering also, and the reason I asked about your relationship, is, what do you know of Ernest and Dora, as in, photos, how old they were when they died etc. Reason being, there are a lot of Ernest Bennett's that died in WW1, with 3 being from a London base.
Do you know that they did have children etc?
I did find an Ernest C Bennett, died 1917, Kensington, aged 1, though he doesn't appear in the Bennett/Perry births, so mother must have had a different name.
I couldn't find a death for Ernest in FreeBMD.

Hi Paula ,I would think it would be around the St pancras /Islington area of london ,

There are quite a few on freebmd for Bennett/Perry have you got a specific area

I have found the marriage of Ernest C Bennett 1916 St Pancras to Dora Perry,can I have some help please in finding any children for them .
