Hi all
Iam trying to find any Edwards whom is or was related to a sergant ray edwards who married the younger sister of robert woolman in coalville .i am the relative of robert his father was my grandads father mygrandad was tom .or would know of corporal parker who lived on belvoir rd coalville

Now confused becase you say Robert's YOUNGER sister married Edward, but if she was born after 1927 she could hardly have married in 1936 ????

robert goes to say in the book that his his mothers younger spinter sister molly who was employed in what in those days was called good service in london,she was cook to a well known stage /screen actress whose husband was a director of the bank of england in the 1940s,and she worked for her royal highness queen mary and she had some thing to do with a royal butler in scotland,she was a cook for her . after her parents took ill she had to give up the high life to help out and she worked in a shoe factory in shepshed.
