David Williams born around 1786 in Carmarthen, married Ann Morgan 17 Jul 1814 in Newport, two sons that we know of William born about 1825 and Thomas born 3 Aug 1828 in Newport. David's mother might have been named Jane. David and Ann were buried Mt. Zion Welsh Congregational Chapel, in Newport I assume? My family has been searching since the early 1960's with no luck so far. |

Can you explain how Pembroke fits into the place? I've seen that name and Gwent when I type in Newport Wales, but I don't understand where that is or how it fits in with where I need to search. |

This church I mentioned wasn't erected until 1834 so it has no records of the family before that time. The genealogist hired by my family searched all the non-parochial and nonconformist denominations in Newport. The only info that was found was from St. Peter in Carmarthen, which is what I provided. Sigh... |

I only have a standard membership for now, brummiejan did you pull up the parish record, and find something? I will have to save up and upgrade as soon as I can if you are accessing that kind of info :) |

Suzanne, I just got that from IGI as I expect you did too? Familysearch site. I'm not sure if Ancestry would have it, I think they only have London area, but I could be wrong. |

Maddie I can't seem to find this record, I know I've seen it before, but today it's missing...lol. Phillip and Jane listed as David's parents. |
