have found a Millicent Emma Fanny Johnson born 1901/2 Portsmouth area mother down as Minnie E Johnson nee Smith, can't find any trace in 1911 or even before of mother. fathers name could be Charles or Charles William might have been a Sergant Major in Army Service Corps. I think mother might come from Portsmouth area.

If Charles is in the Army, they can all be overseas in 1911.
Have you a connection with Millicent, and know if she married in this country?
Thanks

This looks like my 1901 family in 1911:
JOHNSON, E Head Married M 30 1881 Labour General Portsmouth Hants
JOHNSON, M Wife Married 12 years 2 children 1 living F 32 1879 Portsmouth Hants
JOHNSON, Claude Son M 10 1901 School Portsmouth Hants
BOWDEN, Jack Boarder Single M 20 1891 Carter Aldershot Hants
STEVEN Boarder Single F 54 1857 Bricklayer London
RG number: RG14 Piece: 3111 Reference: RG14PN3111 RG78PN113 RD34 SD2 ED2 SN385

Registration District: Farnham Sub District: Aldershot Enumeration District: 2 Parish: Aldershot Address: 22 Crimea Road Aldershot County: Surrey

So looks like wrong initial for husband, wrong occupation, just that they have been married 12 years, they are from Portsmouth to Aldershot, as in Army Base, and I think it is worth considering if nothing else.

If Millicent is your ancestor, then wrong track.

Millicent is my friends Alan's grandmother on her marriage in 1921 the name of her father was William labourer and on her 1955 marriage her father was called Charles Army Sergant. On Millicent birthcertificate there was no name for the father just mother down as Minnie E Johnson nee Smith.
