I know you say you have very little, but any idea - however vague - when he was born?

Well, it's the only Albert Cook (or Cooke) death in Warrington 1965-1990, not much else to say really! Without more info can't say if he is yours.

Hi Keith.

You can order certs from the General Record Office (GRO). They cost £9.25. Website:

www.gro.gov.uk

You need the information as given above. Most people order online, but there is a form to print off if you prefer. You have to register, which will give you a password which you use if you use the site again. and have your credit/debit card ready if you want to pay this way.

I found the birth on Ancestry by the way!

It's a pity you have no more info, as you won't know if it is the person you want? However, if your information is accurate there is only one match.

Best of luck!

Keith, without wishing to pry, can I ask where his name comes from? Just wondering if there is any other avenue you might be able to pursue and maybe haven't considered..
