Paul

Was she adopted as there is no sign of her after the birth in 1938?

She had a brother Paul born a year earlier...Im presuming this is you?

Paul has sent me a PM to say that his sister was adopted and maybe even went to the USA later in life

I dont know anything about adoption or where to point him to but I know there are some of you that have an idea about this sort of thing

Could someone post what Pauls best course of action is please

Thanks

Paul, as a birth relative, you should contact your local Social Services Adoption Dept. They will help you. You can also contact NORCAP - www.norcap.org.uk to register your interest as a birth relative. It will take time and money, but worth it to find your sister.
