Horace Redvers Buller Allen

I recently found the grave of my grandfathers brother, his name being Horace Redvers Allen, husband of Dorothy Allen nee Windle.
He was born in 1900 where in the BMD register he is named as Horace R Allen.
He married in 1927 and again his registered name is Horace R Allen.
On his grave stone he is named as Horace Redvers Buller allen, and in the BMD register he is Horace R B Allen.
Can anyone who knows any of his family shed any light on this matter.
