Just thought, if Henry's father is Thomas, then the christening I found could not be him!

What about siblings for Henry J Wood b 1828? I have his father as Thomas and mother Elizabeth. When I run a search it seams there are heaps of Thomas's with the mothers name of Elizabeth, I can't pinpoint them down. Anyone else have any luck with finding the right ones?

I think something may have gotten lost in the translation from one paper to another!!!
The Times, Thursday, Oct 06, 1938; pg. 13; Issue 48118; col E A Musician's Jubilee Category: Editorials/Leaders A Musician's Jubilee When it was announced early in the year that Sir Henry Wood would celebrate a fifty-years Jubilee in the autumn, his brother and sister musicians hastened to offer their personal services for a monster concert, which took place in the Albert Hall last night.............

Yep, got all that. I think Henry Joseph Wood (snr)'s siblings are Edward Wood b 1826, Elizabeth Wood b 1826 and Margaret Wood b 1831 - but can't find anything definate about them.
As for Sir Henry Joseph Wood's siblings - I have no idea, other than a mention in one newspaper article about a brother and a sister.

I found in a document that my great great grandfather Walter Bennett Wood b 1874 is related to Sir Henry Joseph Wood. However I haven't been able to find the connection.
The document link is: http://members.ozemail.com.au/~neredon/Family-Pages/Winchester/CoTT-full.pdf
The author of the document is now deceased, however I contacted her daughter and she only knew what was in the document.
This is what I know so far: Walter Bennett Wood b 1841 married Eliza Winchester in 1873 in NSW, Australia. They had three children - Walter, Eleanor and Richard.
Sir Henry Joseph Wood born 1869 in London. His parents are Henry Joseph Wood b 1829 and Martha b c1829. Sir Henry married Olga Ouroussof, but she died, so he then married Muriel Greatorex. They had two children Tania and Avril. Sir Henry separated from Muriel and lived with Jessie Linton (nee Goldsack) who changed her name to Lady Jessie Wood.
I have found one article that mentioned a brother and sister for Sir Henry, but haven't been able to trace any records.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. (There are a number of books about Sir Henry, however I am unable to find any in my area)
