Hi, Thank you Liz that looks like the family! Is that 1891? I wonder why I couldn't find them!

Thanks again, it looks like David, who I was originally looking for had died by this point then.

Thank you!

Sorry, just realised I do know where Frederick and Charles were in 1881 - they were next door with their grandmother. It's beyond 1881 I cannot locate these two sons!

Thanks

Janine

Hi, I'm trying to find the whereabouts of David Johnson after 1881 which is the last census I've found him in.

He was born c1834 in Alwoodley, Leeds. He married Susannah and they lived on King Lane farm, Alwoodley. Over the years they had several children: Samuel, Frederick, Charles, Annie, Elizabeth, Mary, Walter, Ada and Thomas.

I'm struggling to find David in the 1891 census and struggling to find a death record for him either. Any info here would be great!

Also, if anyone can find the whereabouts of their sons Frederick (b. 1864) and Charles (b.1865) after 1871 this would also be much appreciated as, unusually, the farm eventually belonged to their first daughter Annie, not these sons.

(Annie was my GGGgrandmother).

Thank you in advance!

Janine
