Member Since: July 2007 Posts: 186 Send Message	i have got orpha clarks birth record in june 1845 battle . i have traced her in the 1851 and 1861 census . i think she married in march 1921 to william c black in grimsby or grimeby as its written 7a 1454 - my problem is that the marriage comes up for william c black to clark - but cant comfurm this is to orpha??? i think she is listed as being married to him in 1871 census even thought they dont seem to marry untill later . can anyone find the other bit of the record that says orpha clark in it ??? many thanks lorraine

	The 1921 marriage is to a Betty Clark. The reason that you could not find her was because the page number had been incorrectly transcribed: Clark Betty Black Grimsby 7a 1545 Black William C Clark Grimsby 7a 1454

I have looked on the Ancestry and others and like you cannot find her on other census records as yet but wil keep looking. Ethel.

Name: Orpah Parkes Estimated birth year: abt 1845 Year of Registration: 1869 Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec Age at Death: 24 District: Brighton County: Sussex, East Sussex Volume: 2b Page: 141 There is a marriage in Guildford Sept 1866 for an Orpah Clark but again there are only 3 names!

	Looking at the original I think that this is the male name missing from 2a 64: COLLINS Walter G Guildford 2a 61
