Hi All I am trying to find details of Henry Thomas Jones born c1829 in Clerkenwell, Islington, London. He married a Mary Ann Watkins on 15th May 1853 at Christ church, Watney Street. The marriage details show his occupation at that time as 'Smith'. It gives his father's name as Thomas Jones (occupation 'Smith'). Mary Ann Watkins father's occupation is Licensed Victualler. I am unable to find details of Mary Ann Watkins or Henry Thomas Jones in the 1841 and 1851 censuses Please can anyone help! |

Still no sign of a Henry Thomas Jones on 1841 or 1851 census with father Thomas Jones. I have found a Henry Thomas Jones born 2 November 1828 baptised 4.3.1829 in Clerkenwell but this gives father as a George Jones and mother Sophia. |

Thank you the 1851 census showing Henry Jones with father Thomas living at 50 Park Street, All Saints, Poplar, looks very hopeful - particularly as it shows him and his father with the occupation of blacksmith. |
