Re the child that died. No details obviously appear on the 1911 census itself. It will be a case of looking for the birth registration of Jackson children in the area that the family were living at the various times between their 1875 marriage and probably 1901. Then looking to see if that particularly named child appeared on the death registrations in the districts at an appropriate age. If any matches are found then obviouly only obtaining a copy of that childs birth certificate will confirm whether Whitfield and Mary Ann were its parents.

You can search birth and death registers free at www.freebmd.org.uk.

I have the names of my grandmothers 11 brothers and sisters but my sister says 14 children were born and two died when small. Could anyone please find if there were 14 born. Parents names are Whitfield Jackson and Mary Ann Gill and my grandmother was Emma Jackson born 1890 but the census says 1891
Thanks barbara
