In our tree we have William Worrall down as my wife's grandfather's dad. But at the time of John Sidney's birth (1908) Annie Worrall (nee Garner), his mother moved in with a John Edwin Harrison in Manchester and I am now tracking him as he may be the father. In fact John Sidney was brought up as a Harrison but the name was not changed legally, But I am stuck on John Edwin Harrison and need to know his parents. I have purchsed his marriage certificate to Annie Worrall Jan 13 1913 when he was 34 and a packer but I cant find him for certain in the 1881 and 1891 and 1901 census though he appears in 1911 with Annie and her children. |

Is there a father's name given for him on the marriage cert? |

If he gave his correct age on the marriage certificate, this COULD be him? |

Yes Choccy that is the family - notice how they are all called Harrison but apart from John Sidney they all marry as Worralls and even his death certificate read John Sidney Worrall " known as Harrison" causing much distress at his funeral |

If you buy his birth certificate you will have his parents names and his father's occupation making it easier to identify the correct John on earlier census records. |
