Thanks for that Jonesy very informative, I always thought my grandfather was an only child I can not remember aunts and uncles and as my mother was an only child we do not have any cousins but we may have second cousins.

I wonder if anyone out there can help, I am trying to find the family of my grandfather he was born on the 24 September 1900 his name was Ernest Edward Turner and he was born in Faversham Kent. He was married to Kathleen Muriel Hadlow and they had one daughter Joan Kathleen. My grandfather died on the 15 September 1970 registered at Dartford Kent. I wonder if anyone can help with siblings and parents?
