Good morning all could somebody please do a 1911 look up for me i am looking for my gt gt gt grandparents William H Hughes & his wife Margaret both born in Liverpool about 1858 -1859 their children were Florence, Clara, William, Ethel & Margaret . In the 1901 census William Margaret & Ethel are still with parents in Hurry St Toxteth Park & in 1891 they are all living at 3 Wilson St Tox Park but i can't find them in earlier census any help would be much appreciated thanks Carol.

Update: Sorry I deleted 1881 as I don't think it's him, and replaced it with one that could be him. I'll try to follow him through.

Not sure, if so this means he has married twice i will save this for future my gt gt gran was Florence so it looks like i will have to get her birth cert thanks you Ozi.

The 1911 census did include a question about how long a couple had been married. Some answered honestly but others who perhaps had children before they married did not.

If a figure is given it is always worth giving it a bit of leeway when searching for a record of the marriage.
