Hi, had a quick look in the trees on this site and there is a gentleman called Clive who may possible have your Fred in his tree. Have you been in touch with him? Cx

Hi Cynthia - have looked and have quite a few details of 1-2 generations back, but precious little of present generations. What I'm really hoping is to get actual contact with relations who may be living in Aust.

Hello David, have you looked in the trees on this site to see if anyone else is researching your family? Cx

thanks for the clarification request; I'm never sure how much info to put in...

Fred was born and lived in Eling in the New Forest, Southampton. His mother was Gertrude (c1862 - 1933), but his father is unknown. Gertrude did not have a good life, so Fred lived with his grandmother Kezia Harrison/Martin.

Not sure where Fred emigrated from, but probably Southampton. We know he became the longest serving volunteer firefighter in Wentworthville, in Sydney's west. He married Beatrice Simmonds in northern NSW in 1913 and they had five children (3 girls, 2 boys) and it is the descendents of those that I am particularly interested in tracing.

Hi David,

Do you know where he was born or where he emigrated from?

Do you know who his parents are?

A few more details will assist.

Cheers

David

Looking to find any Harrisons in Australia who are descendents of Cecil "Fred" Frederick Alfed Harrsion (1882 - 1964). Have recently learned that he is a relation who migrated to Sydney in 1911. cheerz, Dave
