Trying to find a birth for Joseph Wright born 1849,got him on the 1851 census as living with his mother Ann and stepfather Joseph Senior would like info on his father think he was also named Joseph ?Any clues lived in worsborough dale yorkshire.Thanks Pat.

I wonder if his parents were married before Ann married Mr Senior? Might give a clue as to which bit Joseph was born in?

The 1851 census states that Ann Senior was born Kirk Deaton Yorks ...I'm wondering whether this should be Kirk Smeaton which also comes under the registration District of Pontefract

It might be best to get Ann's marriage cert to Joseph Senior to see what that says.....
