Hi Ann,

I am not sure when or where he was born (except that is was more than likely South Shields) and possibly around 1870. I am hoping that the unusual name may help.

I am sorry there is so little information to go on but any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I was hoping someone may be able to look up this man on the 1911 census. I am trying to find his address at the time possibly in North Shields, Tyne & Wear (I believe it was Northumberland then) and also who was living with him at the time.

Looking on the CWGC website, I believe his son, William Emiley Oscar Scott was killed in 1916 in France.
