what a super name .thought he would be unique but there's 59 deaths for Christmas Jones in wales from 1916 !! some would be too late for him tho.

where was he living in 1911? did he appear form the censu's to stay in the same area?

I think Jane/Jennie are one and the same, just badly transribed in the 1891 and 1901!

Carol - I'm very new to this, but I think we have a common relative. My mother gathered a lot of information about this side of the family (dad's side). My ancestor Christmas Jones was born in 1858, married Elizabeth Williams and died in 1936 in Llandudno, so it sounds like the same person you are discussing.

One of the pieces of information I have is that "Christmas Jones and his friend Hobson built Tan-y-Graig on freehold property in Llandudno, a town where most homes are leaseholds and the land is owned by the Mostyn Estates."

There were three children of Christmas and Elizabeth: Thomas Jones, William Jones, and Jane Jones (aka Jean or Jenny).
