Member Since: June 2007 Posts: 14 Send Message	I am trying to find the maiden name of Mary who was married to Thomas Morris. In the 1841 census they lived at South Street, Kidderminster and I believe Thomas' mother (Sarah) and father (John) also lived with them at the time. I can't match a marriage date for Thomas & Mary so I have come to a bit of dead end. Can anyone offer any advice? Thank you

	Tracey, there won't be a marriage certificate for marriages before 1837. You will need to check out the entry in the parish register. Birth certificates for the children born after 1837 would give you the mother's maiden name. To look for certs. go to freebmd. Here's the link ... http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl
