My relative John Hughes born in Biddulph Staffordshire in c 1865 married an Alice Ada Foster who was born in Newchapel in c 1876 at Wolstanton District Staffordshire in 1900.Can anyone find the couple in 1911 please?

There is a death of an Alice A Hughes in Wolstanton in the March Quarter and a marriage for a John W Hughes in the Sept Quarter in Wolstanton in 1909.There is a Mary Higginson showing as unmarried born in c 1869 in the 1901 Census.It looks as if Sarah Jane was Alice's child and perhaps the other two were Mary's.

Ruth Hughes's birth is given in the March Quarter of 1909 so sadly Alice A may have died giving birth.
