Some of these relatives are still be alive, and therefore really interested in finding these people!
Nice and common surname, however, I have quite a bit of starter info.
I'm trying to find all the children of Charles Green and Winifred Lucas. My Grandfather was one of these children, his name was Gordon Green, but was known as George and he was born in 1924. I believe, that there is an Raymond, who is younger, but that's all I definately know age wise. There is supposidly a Bob, (who i assume is Robert) who died in WW2, there is a Ron who emigrated to Australia and died out there, a Pat, who i'm assuming is PAtricia, who is still alive and living in Cornwall, I also think there's a Fred who lives in Stevenage, and there's possibly a winifred as well. I think PAtricia is the youngest, but I really don't know, my dad, doesn't really know much about his family so any information you could give would be great.
Thanks
Sarah

Yeah that's the marriage, I just can't find all the children. My dad's not sure how many there are, and he's not close enough to the possible living ones to ask.
We know that they were born in Islington and that the one that was know as bob, was a RAF pilot and died in WW2.

Christine,
I foudn their marriage on that site, but personally I find it a bit confusing and couldn't find some of the births that I know for sure like my Grandfather.
Thanks for the advice.

Go to this site....

http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl

Don't put in too much information
...............................................................................

Select BIRTHS

In surname put GREEN

For spouse or mother's surname put LUCAS

To the right of that, where it says District scroll down to Islington and click.

Then click on box that says FIND.

Gordon and many others are there.

Gwyn,
That's brilliant! We knew there was a brother in the army, we had correspondence between him and my grandad, but he called him Bob, but that doesn't surprise me as my Grandad called himself George, so changing your name seems to be fashion back then.
However, I found the roll on the memorial, we weren't aware there was a memorial with his name on it. Shame its in Singapore.
So far I believe that Gordon was one of 10 siblings.
Thank you so much, this piece of evidence alone is monumental!
