DANIEL TURNER DIED 1740 - EYE, NORTHANTS.

Good Morning and many thanks to all who had a go at this one.
I think that the information I am looking for is amongs the ' Missing' years for Eye, as Moonbi found when looking for information on her thread, recently.
I am not entirely convinced that the Daniel Turner married to Susannah Preston, came from Eye, Northants originally, unless as I have said in in the missing years. However, I have found a couple of Daniel Turners who would 'fit', just down the road, in Carlby and Little Bytham, Lincs., they being the only ones around the area at the relavent time.
So, for the time being, I will search both of those, and keep them in abeyance, just in case in the future, there is a link and I can join them together, so to speak.
The thing is, I am not convinced that Daniel Turner did not marry three times altogether. I have him with Susannah Preston, in a land transaction in 1743/44, her death in 1748, his subsequent marriage to Mary Pitts in 1750/51, and his death in 1752. But, I feel he may have been married before Susannah Preston, as he had a daughter who was old enough to be married in 1739.

Until yesterday when I was searching other sites, I did not know that there was an Eye in Cambs. also. The one that I am referring to is a 'spit' north/east of Peterborough.
Once again, thank you all very much for trying.

PS. The posting on Curious Fox, is mine from a couple of years ago, and one from which I had no reponse.

Northants/Camb border has always moved about. Didn't think Eye had ever been Northants though, its onlt a spit south east of Cambridge

There is one Daniel Turner marriage in Northamptonshire pre-1837.

to Sarah Tookey, 6 June 1799, Wellingborough.

The records in the file I have go back before 1700, so if the marriage were there, it would be there.

So Eye must have been counted as in a different county at the time.

Please can I make an early, genuine request for help, before we all becomed deluged with the afternoon flow of trite postings, and looking for long lost mommies and poppies.
I have had a bunndle of papers from the Northants Archives, re burials for Eye, Northants. This place I have seen variously in Lincs. Cambs., and Northants., according to transcriptions.
This one in particualr I have crossed referenced with freereg.
Daniel Turner buried 1740, Eye. It gives no age, or parents, nor does it on the freereg site. I have looked also on the IGI, but it is not mentioned at all on there. So I am looking for a DOB and parentage.
Also, I have the deaths of Susannah Turner 1748, wife of Daniel Turner, and his death in 1752.(but not before he married another wife and fathered another son).
The earliest official mention of these two, is in 1743/44, when, land inherited by Susannah, nee Preston, from her late father John Preston, was transferred to Daniel. Is it possible to find a marriage.
I know I have possibly asked part of this query sometime before, but I think they are linked.
Another couple, William and Elizabeth Turner lived in Eye, and had children, at this time
Many thanks, for you time and indulgence.
