Actually trying to get Susan Duff to contact me. I don't know if I scared her off or what. I just really want to connect with our Scottish relatives that were lost sight of over 50 years ago. I have pictures, letters and such to share with them.

Have you tried to contact Susan through this site - if she has opened your message the envelope, in your sent messages, will have turned white, if unopened, it will be purple.

Yes Liz,

I had contact with her then suddenly nothing. I can't imagine what I said, she seemed excited to have made contact. I'm just a bit confused by it all. I'll keep trying though.

Try sending another message and see if it is opened, perhaps she has changed her email address, or is not a member anymore.

You've been very kind. I had someone email me and basically scold me for using this forum to find a living relative. Interesting enough, she was a Taylor but apparently no relation. I found it quite odd really. Oh well.
