I am wondering if anyone can help me as my mother who is 89 has asked me if I can try and find out what happened to her cousin who she was very close to but who lived in the Rhyl area North Wales which was about 200 miles away but they were in regular contact and she visited my mother at least every summer, but she has often wondered why she didnt hear from her again after her mother died about 15-20 years ago.Is she still alive as she would be 73 yrs of aage by now?
Her name was Janet Evans born Wrexham 1937 her parents were Gwyneth Jones born Wrexham 1913 and father William Evans (I have a copy of her birth cert ) I know they lived in Rhyl during the 1960s, but the names Evans and Jones is a major problem as they are such a common name in Wales I have not been able to pinpoint any further info but I did put the name into Family tree search on Genes and it came back with two born in Wrexham but after getting in touch with both tree owners they were not a match.
My mother thinks that she was friendly with an American so I wonder if she got married and emigrated, but again why did she suddenly stop writing.
I would be grateful for any help that anyone can give me.

Hi Fairthorn, Sorry I havent got back to you sooner but thanks for your info I will order this death cert straight away.
Janets birth date was 13th Aug 1937 and their address at the time was 41 Wats Dyke Way, Garden Village, Wrexham
