disappearing george

my gt grandfather george paice born 1853 riverhead kent and family alice (maiden name lee also born 1853 and 4 of their 5 living children -alfred sarah harry and edith) were found on 1881 1901 and 1911 census but disappeared in the 1871 and 1861 census so i have been unable to locate his parents any ideas? thanks kate |

OK, let's start over. Personally I think George is just too elusive so the marriage cert might be necessary - a shame as with that name I would have thought he might be easier. Never mind! |
