I am trying to find details of my nana's brother William Nelson Gregory born 1910 Frosterley / Stanhope.
The only info i have is that he moved to Melksham and worked for Avon Tyres during the war.
Split up from Phyllis shortly after 1948 and moved to Southern Africa.
Returned to uk 1955c lived in Hartlepool, Scarborough then West Yorkshire.
I believe he met somebody called Frances Allison? them the trail goes cold.

i created my family tree by adding from other tree's shared but i could not find Nelson in any other trees.
i want to know more about William Nelson Gregory's family, can you give any advice how i do this

Hi,

Im Jayne Gregory my father was William Nelson Gregory and my mother was Frances Allison.
Phyllis was my fathers first wife, but i dont know any more about her.

If anyone can help me id be grateful, and id help anyway i can
