I'm trying to find more information about Alexander Clark b.1823 Scotland (don't know where) and his wife Mary (don't know maiden name ) born somewhere in Ireland. They lived in Liverpool and had a daughter Elizabeth who married Albert E Johnson. Albert & Elizabeth were my great grandparents and lived in Hart Street Liverpool |

I have now found an Alexander Clark who married a Mary Skiffington in Liverpool in 1849. This is very likely the right Mary as my aunt's middle name was Skiffington and we always wondered where that came from. |
