Re the Daisy M Davis in Poole, there is one of the same name born in Poole in 1894 and she is not the daughter of a Thomas and Ann on the 1901 census-JLe

No I have not connected the Davis name yet, But I just have this feeling ??
The Ggrandmother was not a Davis, Her married name was Barwell..
I just know in my bones there must be a family link between the 2 graves, and was so curious about the 19 year old ..so sad

Have you connected Thomas and Ann to your husband's Great Grandmother please? Was she a Davis too?

Hi Adeline,
Last night I could not sleep so I just tried to browse the 1911 census..I am not a paid member but just wanted to see if I could see anything..Gosh so many Davis names..
Never mind,
Thanks

Thankyou Potty,
I did wonder mabey she had been married..I just wish I could have read more on the stone...It has just been on my mind as I know there must be a connection to my Husband Ggrandmother....The 2 stones were exact in shape and style..very different form all the others, apart from one being about 50 years old and the other nearly a hundred..
Thankyou I could possibly try and find out more on the burial records

Could the daughter have been in service and died elsewhere and not actually buried in that grave?

Possibly she had married and her death registered in her married name. As you know which grave it is, would the cemetary records show who was buried there?

Hello,
I just wondered if someone could help me with this puzzle..
My Husband and I have visited the grave of his great Grandmother....
On doing so, found a grave along side..very very old,but a copy in shape of Hubbys GGrandmother...The only wording I could read was Daughter of Thomas and Ann Davis..died 1913 Nov..age 19 I have looked up deaths for Davis for that year (Hereford )but cant find anyting that would fit...Any ideas..Thankyou
