Many thanks Cynthia, have tried all that. The Yorks side I have from approx 1300 to 1400 and then a gap until 1480: that line finished in 1923. The Lincs line I have unconfirmed from 1480 and confirmed from approx 1600 to date.
Awaiting the reply from the Lord Mayor's Office in York. The missing link between Yorks and Lincs is somewhere from 1379 - 1533 and that is where I am now stuck.
Have had one reply to a search with permission to view tree, but they have over 70,000 entries and I cannot get deep and far enough back for the data to be of use.

Thanks once again

Michael

Hello Michael, have you tried googling for information? There is info there for you.

If you put their full names into the search tree box above, you will see the possibility of a connection on this site.

In the middle ages Robinsons were Lords Mayor of York. Titles they had were Earl of Ripon, Baron Grantham and Viscount Goderich of Nocton (the later 2 being from Lincolnshire). Does anyone have any info concerning the Robinsons of South Lincs who are somehow connected to the Yorks line?
