John w. was born Pendleton, which comes under Salford, so I would say this is likely to be his birth:

Births Dec 1852 (>99%)
Lee John William Salford 8d 17

If all else fails you could get this to confirm Mary's name, then hopefully get a marriage etc.

Please will anyone help me? I am trying to find the birth, and any other info, of George C Lee, who I think was born in the Mancester area of Lancashire in c1826 (he was 35 on the 1861 cenus). He married a Mary, sorry no maiden name and had at least four children, called John W, Joseph, Sarah and Thomas H.
