1851,
this looks like her as Mary is a widow and Ann is born where she says on 1861 and maybe later just said Wisbech as it was easier having lived there as a child.
Also if she was widowed and forced to ask for parish relief at any time she would have been mad eto go back to Norfolk for it.

The 'late' Thomas may not have existed............

What was the date of the marriage? How old was she said to be?

Who witnessed the marriage?

Mark Report 2 Oct 2010 23:07

Hi,

I am trying to find the ancestry of Ann Jackson, (my great-great-grandmother. I have her wedding certificate from July 1859 when she wed Thomas Bumpsteed in St Peter's Wisbech. From the census of 18541 and 1851 there are a couple of likely candidates born around 1836 - 1841).
Is there any further information around to so that I could trace her father (the late Thomas Jackson) according to the wedding certificate and perhaps her mothers maiden name
Thanks
Mark
