I am trying to find James & Annie Cooke/Cook and check the birth area for James and their whereabouts in this year. Annie Cooke (nee New) was born in Kidderminster. I know they had a daughter in 1903. |

Tracey - do you know the daughter's name? There are an awful lot of Cook(e)s so it will narrow it down. |

I have located them in 1901 but I wasn't aware he was born in Kent & want to check. The 1901 census shows them in Coventry and again this is out the norm so wanted to check where they were in 1911. |

Yes they were married in 1894. I have the cert and James' fathers name is John They were at Dudley St in Kidderminster in 1894. This is where I expect them to be. I never expected a move to Coventry. Just checking everything. |

Do you have any relatives connected to Ribbesford near Kidderminster, I have been doing a tree for a friend with the name Cooke from the Kidderminster area. They were weavers but going back a few generations one was born in Yorkshire if I remember right and moved down with the carpet industry. |

John R Cooke (b.1847 Hartlebury) and his wife Maria (b.1853 Ombersley) ran Burlish Farm, Lower Mitton, Stourport (400 acres) with John's brother Alfred M Cooke (b.1859) in 1881. |
