Descendents of Bill and Ann Wright, Kidderminster/

Hi,
I'm looking for descendents of William (Bill) c1911 and Ann Wright (nee Annie Flatley) 1914.
Ann was born in Kidderminster, i'm not sure about Bill although it is likely to be Kidderminster or the local area. I believe they had a daughter Jane and a son John. They lived for some time in Foxlydiate Crescent, Redditch, Worcestershire. Ann also lived in Orchard Street, Kidderminster. I believe this was after the death of Bill.

Ann's brother-in-law Stanley (Stan) Robinson and sister Ivy Robinson (nee Flatley) also lived in the sheltered accomodation in Orchard Street.

All help appreciated.

Have you looked on FreeBMD to see if you can spot likely births?

Do you have any idea of when they married? The marriage cert would give their ages - plus fathers' details - which would make them easier to find maybe.

Jill

Just realised - you're looking for descendants. Even so, a few specific dates would help find the shared ancestors and enable you to search trees etc.

Robin, if you go to FreeBMD http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl and put in Wright as the surname and Flatley as mother's surname you can trace any potential offspring.

I won't post any details on here as they could technically still be living.

Hi Anne-Marie,
Thanks for that will get to it now. Thanks .

Just checked free BMD, but nothing came up. My own birthday (1952), isn't there either. I can only assume they haven't transcribed the 1950's yet.

Robin, there are definitely three children on FreeBMD for William Wright and Annie Flatley (that is what you wanted?).

I'll send you a message with the details.

Edit: - Having looked at location and date I stand corrected and concur with Robin. Will go and stand in dunce's corner for a while and then resume digging.

Robin - yes, 1950's are still work in progress.

Hi Anne-Marie,

The sister in law is my gran, Sarah Pitt, not Titt. She was born in Tunstall. I knew the Flatleys lived in Clensmore St, was never sure of the number although 58 rings a bell somewhere in the dark recesses of my mind.
I never knew my gran lived with the Flatleys at any time.
I knew all the Flatley females that are listed, personally.
Samuel died in 1922.
Thanks for your input, it's helped somewhat as far as my gran goes. I just wish they would hurry up transcribing the free records.

Regards, Robin
