I am trying to find the parents of THOMAS LEWIS who was married to Eleanor Evans. The only information I have is from Thomas' wedding certificate (1876, Cardigan, Wales) that states that his fathers' name was William Lewis.

Does the marriage cert give their ages and both father and son's occupation? Have you found the couple in any census and do you have any children's names and ages?

Ages are only stated as "Full age". Thomas' Rank or Profession is listed as Shipwright on board merchant ships. and Williams' Rank or Profession is listed as Blk Smith

This is the right family as I have a "In loving memory" of David Lewis who died 3rd July 1893 aged 11 years.
