Member Since: March 2006 Posts: 14 Send Message	I am trying to find out about the family of William Jackson and Sarah Haworth who moved to New Zealand around 1876 to Taranaki around Patea/Hawera. William was born in County Down, N. Ireland around 1839 and his parents were John Jackson and Rachael Cane/Cain. He must have moved to England at some point before 1862 as he married Sarah Haworth in late 1861 in Oldham, Lancashire. They later moved to Bradford, Yorkshire. William was a bricklayer I know there was one daughter Sarah Ann Jackson, born Bradford, W. Yorkshire in 1872, but have found there were at least 5 sons , 2 probably born in England and the rest in NZ and possibly called James, Charles, George and Frederick. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Member Since: June 2008 Posts: 96 Send Message	Hi, look at the NZ bdm records. Charles 1880, Herbert Wesley 1885, George Thomas 1882, Frederick 1883. Also a James Wm with parents Wm & Sarah Tindle 1884. Hope this helps. Pat
