I am trying to find out about the family of William Jackson and Sarah Haworth who moved to New Zealand around 1876 to Taranaki around Patea/Hawera.
William was born in County Down, N. Ireland around 1839 and his parents were John Jackson and Rachael Cane/Cain. He must have moved to England at some point before 1862 as he married Sarah Haworth in late 1861 in Oldham, Lancashire. They later moved to Bradford, Yorkshire. William was a bricklayer
I know there was one daughter Sarah Ann Jackson, born Bradford, W. Yorkshire in 1872, but have found there were at least 5 sons , 2 probably born in England and the rest in NZ and possibly called James, Charles, George and Frederick.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi, look at the NZ bdm records. Charles 1880, Herbert Wesley 1885, George Thomas 1882, Frederick 1883. Also a James Wm with parents Wm & Sarah Tindle 1884. Hope this helps. Pat
