There is 4 Alexander Scott deaths in Dumfries 1871-1881

I couldn''t find the birth so far. It seems likely that he died in Scotland. His family certainly stayed in the Dumfries area.

IGI has not got him in Eskdalemuir.Did he die in Scotland,then death details in Scotlandspeople will give parents.

I am trying to see if I can find the parents of Alexander Scott, bor c 1813/14 in Eskdalemuir, Dumfries, Scotland. I have hime, with his wife Jane on the censuses. Is it possible to find the parents?
