Born co. Durham 1893, 1911 cencus pantry boy westminster worked for a member of royal family , working his way to butler ,1941 my grandmother his sister received a letter saying he had not been well & was traveling to australia to recover.
letter posted, Fremantle 1.30pm 6th may1941 never heard from since. Think the ship he sailed on Themistoles on 4th march .i am the third generation trying to find what happened to him .any information i would be very grateful.

This is the same man as Astra posted on both records he is a 'valet'

So he was travelling way before the 40s

Maybe Janets idea is a good one as he could have died anywhere in the world if he was travelling with the Royals
